Carolina Women's Center Essay Contest
The Carolina Women’s Center invites you to participate in their 10th Anniversary Essay Contest. The contest is open to all undergraduate students and all entries must be received by October 31st to be considered for prizes. All you need to do is to answer the following prompt in an essay of 300 words or less and email it to cwc@unc.edu or drop it off at our office, located at 134 E. Franklin Street, Suite 215.
The theme of the Carolina Women's Center 10th Anniversary is "Equity, Empowerment, Excellence." What is the best way for young women on campus to pursue these goals? How will you continue to pursue these goals after you graduate?
Winners will be announced November 19th. Our grand prize is a $200 Gift Certificate to the Chapel Hill Restaurant Group (411 West, 518 West, Spanky's and Squids). First and Second runners up will receive $50 Gift Certificates. The winning essays will be featured in our semi-annual newsletter
